We are developing a practical, evidence-based guidance resource to help development partners strengthen national food system governance where it matters most. Drawing on global pilots and new country assessments, this work uncovers what makes governance institutions effective across different contexts, and translates those insights into clear, actionable guidance for real-world use. The result is a shared, trusted reference that enables partners to support governments more consistently, strategically, and effectively in delivering their National Food System Transformation Pathways.
